Noose!

Oh my it has been busy at Heater Girl lately! But now is no time for idle talk, only UPDATES!

!) Not My Dog Residency! One More Left!

We’ve been playing every Tuesday but the first at Not My Dog and enjoying unprecedented levels of success.  I want to thank some awesome music people: The Mip Power Trio, featuring Shane MacPherson for Tuesday the tenth; The Dreadful Starlings and Bank Machine on the 17th; and The Red Steps with Mélanie Brûlée this past tuesday. By owner Eric’s own admission we’ve  turned his Tuesdays into Friday/Saturdays. Amazing performances and good vibes all around!

Our last and final show this month at NMD is set to be the craziest night yet. We’ve put together an eclectic line-up that will take you from the smooth hip hop of The Plaitwrights to the power, tudes and blues of The Blind Cats. Better show up early to get your spot in the mosh pit, this one’s gonna pack the place. Still at the low low price of ZERO DOLLARS. Did anybody notice my oxford semicolon in the previous paragraph?

@) Analbum!

So we’ve been hard at work on an album so you folks enjoy some Heater Girl from the comfort of your own home! It’s got ten songs on it and it will knock your face off. The only problem is that Stoo has fallen gravely ill with mysterious disease that the professor thinks is due to a specific voodoo curse. Stoo has many powerful enemies. And Like an Ultimate Frisbee team needs its coach to play, we need Stoo. I’ve dispatched Aaron to the depths of the Amazon to retrieve an antidote from a Inca medicine woman. No doubt he’ll be good as new by Tuesday and we’re about two effective days from completing the recordings. I can’t tell you much about it yet, just that we haven’t named it, there will be a deluxe version as well as a standard, and it look like the website and the shirts!

#) Heater Threads!

I haven’t told you about the apparel!

That’s it for now! Wish Aaron luck on his perilous journey and see you at the Dog!
